Effective October 18, 2026
Wisener Ventures LLC offers website and web application work, preaching, teaching, and related creative services. This page explains the process and important limitations. It is not a substitute for a written project agreement.
Before work begins
An inquiry, email draft, introductory conversation, or general service description does not reserve a date, authorize charges, or establish a paid engagement. Work begins after both parties agree in writing to the project and any required payment arrangements.
The project agreement should identify the parties and cover scope, deliverables, fees and deposits, payment dates, timeline, client responsibilities, revisions, approval and acceptance, cancellation and refunds, ownership and licenses, confidentiality, third-party costs, hosting, and any maintenance or support. It should also address warranties, liability, and dispute handling appropriate to that engagement. The signed agreement controls the paid work if it differs from this website.
Scope, results, and ongoing costs
Examples and descriptions illustrate possible work; they do not guarantee availability, a launch date, search rankings, traffic, revenue, ministry growth, or any other outcome. Proposed schedules depend on the agreed scope, timely client materials and approvals, and third-party availability. Changes to scope, fees, or schedules require written agreement.
Domain registration, hosting, subscriptions, payment processing, licensed assets, and outside services may involve separate charges and terms. These costs and who manages each account should be confirmed before commitment. Ongoing updates, backups, monitoring, accessibility remediation, security work, and support are included only when expressly agreed. A delivered website or application requires continuing care.
Materials and ownership
Clients must have the necessary rights and permissions for content, data, images, and instructions they provide. Ownership of custom deliverables, source files, and reusable components must be stated in the project agreement. No transfer is implied by an inquiry or payment alone. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.
Ministry and project disclosures
Christopher Wisener's ministry role and references to churches or The United Methodist Church do not, by themselves, mean those organizations sponsor, approve, or are parties to Wisener Ventures' services. General preaching, teaching, and faith resources support reflection and learning; they do not replace individualized professional care.
Projects marked beta, including linked experimental tools, may change, contain errors, or be unavailable. Evaluate their suitability and keep independent copies of important information. Review each application's terms and privacy notice; this website's policies do not automatically govern those services.
Clear communication
Questions about a service, quote, charge, cancellation, accessibility need, or project concern can be sent to christopher@wisenerventures.com. Please raise concerns promptly so Christopher can discuss a practical resolution. Nothing on this page removes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive.
