Following Jesus is a way of life. It shapes how I listen, how I lead, and how I care for the person in front of me.
I serve as Senior Pastor of St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Troy, Missouri, and as an ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church. I earned my Master of Divinity at Saint Paul School of Theology, with a specialization in Wesleyan Studies.
That tradition runs through my work: grace in everyday life, faith that grows in community, and love that moves into the world.
Wisener Ventures, LLC brings those convictions into teaching, ministry resources, and software, including UMConnexion, the web app that keeps Methodists connected. I also offer website and web app creation services for churches, organizations, and businesses. The question behind it all is simple: how can I help people grow in love with God and one another?
Outside of ministry, I love time with my wife, Christina, and our four children, games, learning, and a good laugh. There’s always more to discover, and usually somebody worth sharing it with.
